Merlin's developed a new interest. A hobby of sorts. As if magic didn't make him enough of an outsider he's found a unique interest in crossdressing. The colors, the fabrics, stitching, and embroidery -- all of it has sparked his interest.
Now bring in the fact the soon-to-be king of Camelot, Arthur Pendragon, has just found out about this and things get messy. Let's see how long Merlin can keep this hobby quiet before everyone else he knows finds about it.

Summary
After Merlin saves Arthur at Camlann, Arthur searches for ways to reward Merlin for his actions. Repealing the ban on magic doesn't feel like one, it's just the right thing to do. Merlin refuses any position Arthur offers him. So, he has to get creative.
Alternatively: Arthur and Gwen have a child. But that child will always have two dads.

Summary
Uther has been dead for a few weeks, and things have been going a little too well in his absence. When he comes back as a spirit hellbent on returning Camelot to the way it was during HIS reign, Arthur (understandably) has a few problems with that. To make matters worse, the only other person who can see Uther is Merlin, a telltale sign of his magic. Amidst guilt, secrecy, and threats against everyone he holds dear by the very person he's been grieving; Arthur must decide where his loyalties truly lie.

As always, it's a patrol gone wrong when it happens, and Arthur's in the thick of things, much to Merlin's chagrin, as he's the one who has to drag his Royal Prattishness out of harm's way.
All in all, though, a completely run-of-the-mill situation.
That is, until the random old sorcerers, conjured barghests, secret plots, and stupid self-sacrificing idiots come into play.
