    Dick Grayson has not seen himself when he looks in the mirror for a very long time. He has seen Talon, a Robin, Renegade, Nightwing, and Batman. A Brother, a son, a hero, a legacy, it is title after title and mantle after mantle. He was thrust into grief and loss and pain time and time again, they always say trauma is a cycle. No one is such a good example of that as him.

    However, there is no one person who knows what that trauma as a whole has shaped him into. There is not one person who knows Dick Grayson. Not even Dick himself.

    Bruce comes back from the dead, and the bat is passed back, leaving Dick to take a look at the man he had become under its weight.

    So, who's going to find out about him first? Dick himself? Or his family?
