Summary
This takes place right where the first book ended, as the fierce war between the decepticons and autobots continued. New characters will be introduced, villain or heroes is what the main question is though about them. Hailie and the other characters once again need to survive and save this world but their luck is in a tug of war with being good luck or bad. Millions of ups and downs will happen with this book, for it’s never an easy way through life. Not only will there be even more magic and spells but now there will be spirits, gods, and goddesses of all sorts come into play. Will the resistance be able to protect their home from being taken over and ruled by a common threat? Or will they fight one another instead of the enemies…?

Summary
Hunter believes he can finally leave his past behind to create a normal life for himself. Wishing he had his first friend to talk to again, he starts writing letters to Flapjack. He starts his first term of school, spends quality time with his friends, and avoids thinking about everything that came before this moment. Who cares that he’s a grimwalker or that he was the evil emperor’s right-hand-man or that he’s always staring at other witches’ palismen? None of that matters. The past is in the past.
But the past isn’t so easy to ignore when you were made from a 350 year old body. Not every mirror can be covered; not every secret can be buried. As Hunter’s past gets dug up and put on public display, he fights to keep it buried—even if that means he’ll have to bury himself.

They let one hand snake around his waist, somehow pulling him impossibly closer. Their other hand found Abolish's hand, and they intertwined their fingers. They told themselves, that it was only because, he would need something to anchor him. That was the only reason. Bloodletting could make the offeror weak and sluggish, so it was best this way. Pyro kept repeating that in his head, until he was convinced.
To his surprise the other relaxed into him, like he was the safest thing in the entire world.
He was their entire world.
