The Wammy's House is a training facility for L's successors and puppets, guising itself to the public as a notable orphanage. In the process of molding its children into becoming aberrant geniuses, many orphans undergo the unfortunate occurrence of complete mental disintegration. The top three students- Mello, Matt, and Near- face this peril during their fight to continue L's legacy. That is, until they grow closer to Y/N- the lowest ranking orphan at The Wammy's House.
