It’s up to eight rogue Constellations to choose a human and bond to their life force, giving up their own life in the process, to save every world. These eight chosen humans will become the Rangers of the Constellations and it will be their mission to restore peace to the constellations and save the multiverse.

‘Drowning,’ Wylan repeats, giggling. He burrows into Jesper’s side, making himself comfortable, and Jesper can’t help the besotted grin tugging at the corner of his mouth—but that’s okay, because everyone else looks charmed by their resident pigeon too.
‘Yeah?’ Nina says, from where she’s sat almost entirely in Mattias’ lap, ‘Were you drowning in alcohol, Wylan?’
‘No,’ he says, drawing the word out, and then he shakes his head again like he’s trying to think of something, ‘Weeeell, I’ve been drowned before. But not in alcohol.’ And, as if to offset the statement, he giggles and relaxes into Jesper once again.
(or, where an innocuous word makes a drunk, loose-lipped wylan spill the beans about his childhood.)

The air in the room was too thick and Wylan gasped, gently pushing Jesper off of him as he rolled out of the bed, thankful that the other was well and truly knocked out. He didn’t even spare a glance at his boyfriend sleeping soundly, which usually would’ve calmed him down, but now he just needed to leave, get out, breathe in air that wasn’t here, in this room that would only be welcoming to Wylan Hendricks and not Wylan Van Eck.
Wylan has a panic attack, Kaz makes a lot of tea and secrets get revealed.
