Vampire attacks are happening again. Unprovoked, strange, humans and vampires dying alike. A disease. Alucard assures them that he isn't susceptible.
Fast forward to Trevor hauling him out of the Belmont hold, trying not to visibly panic, Alucard vomiting up blood and Sypha pretending she has the situation well in hand when really she's as frantic as the rest of them.

Thorin Oakenshield is a Witcher of the Raven School. A Dwarf exiled from his homeland, or rather what was left of it. When a contract reaches him about a beast terrorising The Shire, Thorin takes it along with fellow Witcher and friend Dwalin - but what he finds there was not something his training could have ever readied him for.
A sorcerer of Yavanna, by the name of Bilbo Baggins.

Summary
Six months after the company has reclaimed the misty mountain, the halls of Erebor, once again, thrum with life, laughter and the steady rhythm of Dwarven trade. It is well over-due that Thorin Oakenshield, Son of Thrór, Son of Thráin, King under the Mountain, confronts an injury he received during the Battle of the Five Armies. One he has done his best to put to the back of his mind.
Namely, the wound to his foot.
Despite Óin’s, and the rest of the company’s, best efforts, Thorin refuses to use the cane that will ease his pain and prevent further damage. It will take an equally stubborn hobbit to convince him otherwise and to reveal that some battles are best not fought alone.
In doing so, uncomfortable truths are laid bare and moments of quiet longing surface. Amid Erebor’s rebuilding is a new chance for them to heal and begin building a future in which love, slowly and patiently, is ready to grow.

Convinced his dwarves have not forgiven him, Bilbo escaped back to the Shire and accepts that his adventure came to an end. The company, unaware of his arrest, eventually must accept that their burglar must have perished in the battle. A recreated mournful journey back to the Shire forces everyone to confront the past.

Thorin pulled into the long and winding driveway of Bag End Stables. The path was decorated with neatly kept flowers on either side. The trees that littered the grounds were starting to turn fiery shades of red and orange, as a crisp autumn breeze gently swayed their branches. Altogether, the farm painted a very pretty picture. There was a large barn that held about 20 stalls, by Thorin’s estimate of the size, and a small indoor ring for riding. The rolling hills were filled with fields fenced off for the horses, with lush grass and ample space for them to stretch out and play, and a large outdoor ring. Crowning the tallest hill was a small house with a green door. It was not the fanciest farm, and it was certainly rustic, but it was well kept and obviously well loved.Bookmarked by 4tner

Based on the game choices where Dettlaff killed Syanna and Geralt lets him go. Five years later, after Regis has been putting a lot of work on Dettlaff, invited him to a performance Dandelion and Priscilla wanted to share. Some don't know he's a vampire and thus makes everyone uneasy. Regis knows that Lambert likes Gwent and to diverge attention and tension, suggests that the two witchers play a few rounds. Leading to some interesting bonding moments.
