Summary
Felix wakes up on a dull morning in January and his world is in order. He is an idol. He is a beta. He is male. These are basic facts, ones that have been constant and steady in his life for years now. He's been this way since he was born and moving to Korea, debut, and everything else has not changed that.
There are other facts he knows.
For example, he is not in a pack with his members. He is not part of their world, with dynamics and secondary genders. He does not have a Prime Alpha in Bang Chan. Changbin is not his Second, Minho and Jisung are not his omegas, and Hyunjin, Seungmin, and Jeongin are not his alphas. Felix should carefully slide out from under Hyunjin and sneak out of the room, save them both the embarrassment of Hyunjin waking up, but he doesn’t. He can’t explain why he isn’t moving. “It’s going to sound so weird.” Felix says.
“I won’t get mad.” Hyunjin says, but Felix still hesitates. At least until Hyunjin holds out his pinky to swear it.
“I couldn’t sleep because… The performance today, I just couldn’t stop thinking about it, and you… I shouldn’t feel this way, but I do, and it shouldn’t matter. But I couldn’t stop watching videos of it and thinking about it, and before I knew it, I was here.” Felix does a bad job of explaining, stuttering over his own words as heat creeps into his cheeks. The smirk forming on Hyunjin’s face does nothing to help.
“You were jealous.” Hyunjin says, looking pleased, almost as if this was his intention.

"But why him?" Hyunjin definitely does not whine. "He's going to make me sit and watch him play computer games all day. I'll die of boredom."
Felix seems to blink back into orbit. "Actually, I have a taekwondo match today," he says.
"Great," says Hyunjin, "so I have to sit and watch a bunch of sweaty losers hug each other aggressively?"
Jisung shrugs. "Guess so. Are you going to put it on or not?"

He reaches out his hand and Felix takes it on instinct. Immediately Hyunjin finds the rings around Felix’s finger. The rings Hyunjin had gifted him just because Felix had asked about them one day. The rings they share.
“Do you still not take them off?” Hyunjin asks, turning the rings round and round on Felix’s finger.
“Never,” Felix confirms.
“I guess you should mention that again. We have interviews coming up.”
