“Wilbur,” he says, crooked smile back on his face. “And this actually IS my building.”
Tommy hesitates (if the dude really is a wrong’un, his powers could activate via touch—), but Dream’s protections are strong around him, and Tommy reaches to shake the hand back. “None-of-your-bees-wax,” Tommy asserts cheerfully.
Wilbur chuckles, turning to look out at the city. “Alright, mystery-man , keep your secrets.”
OR Tommy is a healer under Dream's protection. He doesn't remember how he ended up that way, or what his life was like Before, but lately he's felt on the cusp of regaining his memories. And there's something that almost... feels like home when he meets a certain man in a yellow sweater.
