Summary
All Gothamites having an unspoken understanding that Gotham changes her people. She sinks her claws deep into their beings, seizing them by their essence, and alters them.
First is the Bat.
Then comes an Owl who soon fosters their own Robin.
As the nest grows, a Robin is prematurely plucked. From the dregs a baby bird tries to hold its flock together.
Somewhere along the lines, a grounded bird finds their way back into her confides.
Eventually, the nest is filled.
Or: Gotham stakes her claim on the Bat and his Birds, leaving them a little less human than they once were. This changes everything and nothing at all.

Summary
Batman had made many mistakes during his early years, some bigger than others, but he learned his lessons along the way. One of those mistakes had been adding artificial wings to his suit, which only lasted for two weeks before he retired them, Bruce decided gliding was more than enough for him.
But then, he lets it slip he knows what flying is like, and the Justice League notices, and sleep-deprived bat responds less than eloquently.
Or
The Justice League believes somebody clipped Batman's very-real-biological wings, some are out for blood.

Summary
Hallo! I decided to try writing some Batson!centric short stories because it looked really fun.
Note: I don't put stuff in the tags unless it actually shows up in the story.
1st Chapter: A sleep-deprived Billy forgets to transform before going up to the Watchtower. Shenanigans ensue.
2nd Chapter: Captain Marvel knows how to do his job. Billy remembers the Champion's baggage. They both are nagged by the gods. The League wonders why Captain Marvel has been requesting more shifts.
3rd Chapter: Batman hasn't figured out Captain Marvel's identity. The reverse is not true.
4th Chapter: Truth mold drives a League meeting off-course.
5th Chapter: Billy used to tell stories.
6th Chapter: Continuation of Fourth Chapter: The League is quarantined on the Watchtower until the mold wears off. Billy tries to avoid Batman, but that doesn't always go according to plan...
7th Chapter: Billy Batson is unstuck in time.
8th Chapter: Billy and Freddy go on a field trip.
9th Chapter: Billy contemplates Earth and Responsibility.

Seeking to find out whether the aphrodisiac effect of incubus come could have medical applications, Samir applies for a grant with Infernal Partnerships, the leading organisation that arranges contracts between humans and demons. He was expecting sex to be involved, because incubus. He wasn't expecting feelings to happen.
He doesn't really mind all that much, though.
