Summary

“Won’t your silk trousers be ruined in the wet sand?” Potter asked after several silent moments, as if he’d been trying to decide on what to say after weeks of not talking again.
“They’re wool, actually,” Draco said simply, moving his leg closer to Potter to let him see for himself. The Gryffindor was obviously in distress and maybe even some pain, and if taking it out on Draco right now helped him, Draco would let him. Maybe he really did have a crush on the poor bastard. “I’m sorry.”
“What?” Potter’s voice sounded less venomous now.
“That you got picked,” Draco explained, “I can’t believe they’re making you participate. And I honestly hope you don’t die.”
Potter watched him in confusion, “You don’t think I put my name in?”
Draco laughed and kept looking ahead, “You would rather eat slugs.”

Summary
After Harry gets thrown into Kings’ Cross station at limbo during the Final Battle, he faces a choice—to return to the present or go to another time. Unfortunately, not everything goes as planned when he shows up in 1943 and finds himself only able to speak Parseltongue.
As the only other student who can speak Parseltongue, Tom is assigned to be Harry’s guide throughout the remainder of the school year.

Summary

Summary
Ever since the events of his fourth year, Harry Potter has been drowning. He’d already been struggling for years, and a mixture of fresh trauma, mounting pressure, and disturbing nightmares is pushing him closer and closer to the edge.
His friends see him falling apart more and more, but they’re powerless to help him. The adults in his life are willing to turn a blind eye to his ever-increasing issues, so long as they’re able to maintain their idea of a savior and keep their plans in place.When Harry Potter arrived at Hogwarts, Severus Snape's life became exponentially harder as he tried to field threats against a boy he didn’t even like and take up spy work again at the same time. With the return of the Dark Lord, Severus also suddenly had to work to protect his godson from the threat looming over them; if Draco fell into the Dark Lord’s hands like his father, he would never escape.
Severus is content to allow the obvious problems rising in Potter to be addressed by the boy’s other teachers, and the people who cared for him.
