At eighteen, he may have learned the hardest lesson of all: arguing with a referee over a bad call would get you ejected from the game…and benched for the next two.
Or: Atsumu spends his time trying not to argue with refs, so Kiyoomi decides to do it on his behalf. Atsumu copes about as well as you think he might.

That thread of patience snaps. “No.” Gojo raises his voice, deep and stern, for the first time towards him. The word may be short, but the power he puts behind it is clear, and it makes Megumi’s eyes widen and take a step back.
After a second of silence, Gojo takes a deep, steadying breath and says in a more controlled tone, “I am not leaving you two alone. I signed the papers, and now, legally, you two are my responsibility. So, no. Things will not be going back to the way they were before.”
There’s a waver in Megumi’s face, and then it twists into a snarl. “You’re not my dad!”
“I don’t want to be your stupid dad!” Gojo snarls back.
