Marnus throws one glove across the room at his open kitbag. “Steven, you’ve got to be fucking kidding.”
“No, I’m not kidding, fucking or otherwise.”
He gets another dirty look at that.
“I’m done with you, mate. No wonder Painey never noticed. He never knew it was an option.” Marnus hurls the other glove into his kit bag and yanks out his phone. “Okay no, that’s it. I’m texting the lads.”
Steve slams up to a seated position on Marnus’ bed. “What lads?”
Marnus shoots him a look. “All of them.”
Steve gapes at him.

Or, the one where Zoinis do Zoinis things, Steve has a breakdown and Marnus tries to be a good friend, complicated by the fact that sometimes, Steve doesn't tell him important information. Oh, and the entire squad are invested in Steve's love life.

“Not one,” Kevin echos. “Not a Raven.”
Wymack might have said something to that, but Kevin can’t hear him when every sound becomes muffled and a cruel, “playing pretend now, are we?” is whispered in his ear.
