Absolute majesty. A great, canon divergent, gen fic that treats high schoolers like the kids they are (except in the end where Daichi gets a bit dramatic). Hinata's injury is pretty major though, and the incident isn't skippable as it's recapped as characaters relive the moments. Platonic Kagehina is very strong in this one and we are once again shown why Tanaka-senpai is the best senpai.

Shouto looks at the drink in his hand, then back to the beautiful blonde boy, then back to the drink and downs it in one go, ignoring the slight burn as it slides down his throat, and while it would have been more suave to appear unaffected, he gives his head a little shake. He takes a quick breath and forces the words out before he has a chance to realize what a massive mistake this all is.

Deku's been gushing about his pathetic crush on his new friend, Todoroki, the entire time Bakugou's been away for his semester of Study Abroad, and now that he's back, Bakugou is finally going to get them together so he never has to hear about it again.
The plan is foolproof: Bakugou's going to wingman Deku straight into his crush's pants at the big back to school rager. It all goes awry when Deku winds up having to take care of a sick Uraraka instead of coming to the party. Back when I raged at the sight of Deku, fics like these kept me alive. This one starts smutty (skippable if you're not in the mood) and goes into soft, hopeful angst. It's BKTD with Deku pining unrequited over Todoroki. Unfinished, but still fulfilling.

Summary
Jisung walks over to Mark with a twisted smile on his lips. He cradles Mark's hand to force the green velvet box closed, just so the shine of the ring stops threatening to blind him. He wraps stiff arms around Mark's body, presses guilt-dirty hands to his back, and whispers an uglily forced, "Yeah, sure. Congrats, hyung," into his brother's sweaty hair.
Mark laughs his high-pitched giggle into the crook of Jisung's neck, back straightened up to throw his arms around his shoulders, feet bending at the tips because it is now Jisung the one who's always a bit too out of reach. Jisung would swallow mud a million times to get him laughing like this.
