“Oh, sorry, next time I’m getting beat up I’ll make sure to reschedule because I have a date,” Seungmin scoffs, grabbing Hyunjin’s arm and pulling him up from his seat.
or, Seungmin pisses off his nemesis, so he has to run away. Hyunjin tags along, because he'll always follow Seungmin around. The problem? Seungmin is leaving for good, and Hyunjin isn't supposed to leave with him, because he isn't supposed to be in love. It's just a fling after all.

“Don’t sound so touched,” Seungmin says, laughter light in his tone. “Listen first.”
“But I don’t need to listen to know I’ll love it!” Hyunjin’s argument is passionate as he gets up to look for his headphones. It’s best to listen to Seungmin’s voice with them on the first time, for the full experience, and Hyunjin wants nothing less than that. A song from Seungmin for his birthday! “You’re my singer. How could I not like it the most?”
Seungmin sends Hyunjin an early birthday present, but there may be more meaning to it than Hyunjin knows.

Summary
Hyunjin should have been punished, really. The soda wouldn’t be fizzy when Seungmin picked it up again. He shouldn’t have been so warm, so that he wouldn’t mind turning off the aircon at night. He should’ve been comfortable in Seungmin’s bed. He should’ve fit there as easily as he fit into Seungmin’s heart, but he didn’t.
Seungmin and Hyunjin keep getting it wrong until they get it right.

He takes off his sunglasses; now Hyunjin can see his eyes. Hyunjin has always liked Seungmin’s eyes, how sincere his gaze is.
Hyunjin is frozen. “Do you want a different server?”
And here, Seungmin’s mouth flattens into a frown. “No,” he snaps, harsh. “I’m a normal paying customer. Treat me the way you’d treat anyone else.”

Summary
There isn’t a name for the swelling of his lungs when he catches the smile on Hyunjin’s lips when he sleeps. There’s no name to the way Seungmin cares for him—so deeply, intensely, fiercely. The way he aches when he sees him devoid of his usual shine, the way he thinks he’d be perfectly happy if he died with his hand on his own.
The word love to Seungmin is simple: it’s taking care of Hyunjin. It’s making him happy. It’s keeping him safe. It’s everything he imagined love must look like.
