Lance bit his lip and took a chance, looking up at him under his eyelashes, as he pitched his voice low enough to match Keith’s and breathed, “I don’t know. Why don’t you try to show me you’re worth all my attention?”
Keith’s eyebrow inched up, one side of his mouth coming up into a slight smirk as he murmured, “I think I can manage that.”

Summary
Keith has never been so nervous--not while fighting the Galra, and certainly not while flying a massive metal lion--than he is to meet Lance's family. It's stupid, he thinks, being afraid of a room full of people his boyfriend adores, but he's better suited for fighting, which is why he's glad he's only staying two weeks.
Lance is wrong three times: he thought returning home would be easy, he thought Keith had the same plans as him, and he thought he was done with the war.
Or: when Allura dies, they don't get to say goodbye. Grief, Altean marks, and all that follows.
