“Jeez, why is your bag so heavy?” Sofia breathes out as she holds the strap around her shoulder, watching as Nurmi gets the other bag from the trunk before he closes it again.
“I packed all my love for you” he grins, taking the bag from her and hanging it over his own shoulder. She just looks at him with a funny expression, rolling her eyes before pushing him to move forward and back to the house again.
In which Nurmi joins Sofia's little family for Christmas.

There was no gravity, no force, no push when they both made yet another step, a step that was meant to be their last one, and their bodies finally collided. Their hands found each other, with hunger, almost with relief, fingers lacing together, the soothing feeling of skin brushing against skin. His hands cupped her face, thumbs gently caressing the skin on her cheeks, just like he always did, almost like with that gentle gesture he was claiming her his and only his.
