Madame Odile came out of her tent and joined the group, Crafting book in hand. “What's happening?”
Isabeau smiled awkwardly. “I thought I saw something, but let me check again, I'm pretty sure it was nothing!”
“Wait, what do you think you saw?”

A darkless blur dashed out of the tent. Siffrin skidded to a stop in front of the party, spun on their heel, and unsheathed their dagger.
He was followed by Siffrin, Siffrin, Siffrin, and Siffrin.

Having resumed their quest for the final Orb after Siffrin lost an eye, it seems the party can't catch a break. A group of strange Sadnesses are copying Siffrin, using the memories each party member has of him. Can everyone work through their false impressions and find the real Siffrin?

Here’s what you won’t know how to put in words, soon enough. Not until you inevitably forget, again, like a wild animal who cuts itself on the brambles of bushes for the meager hope of food.
It wasn’t a change, whatever you did. Not a flexible part of your being, not something up to circumstance and choice— though if you tried to tell it to a vaugardian they’d tell everything can Change.
Protecting is an integral part of you. It’s— words are already escaping you, but stars, you have to try, you have to explain it to someone even if only yourself— it’s the building blocks of your very existence. Rocks are rocks, crystals are crystals, stars are stars, iron is iron regardless of if it’s shaped on a sword or a horseshoe.
You’re Siffrin. Siffrin protects. If you did not protect, you would not be Siffrin anymore.
(Or, in which Siffrin is a paladin instead of a rogue. Despite what could expect, not knowing his own oaths changes very little.)

Of course you did. You couldn’t help it. The very first time you’d come back, you’d looked into their faces and burst into tears. They’d crowded around you, cooing and worried, as you curled into a ball and sobbed so hard you could barely breathe. Of course they wanted to know what was wrong; of course the truth slipped out; of course they thought they could try and fix it.

Or Siffrin thinks he has to date Isabeau to move in with him, so they try to "confess" their totally romantic feelings. It doesn't go as expected.

Summary
Everyone eventually started looping together and the King finally, after many loops, took notice. He made a new wish to try stopping them, and Siffrin wished back. The world broke, but the Saviors survived.
With limited wish craft left, Siffrin sends Bonnie to a new world. Somewhere that’s safe.
Bonnie appears on a beach and meets… the Saviors? Wait, these guys have never looped before! And you’re saying they WON ANYWAYS?!?! Bonnie joins their travels to Bambouche in hopes of finding a way to bring the rest of their own family back.
They just have to handle being with people who look just like their family but are wrong in so many little ways. No problem! Don’t get them started on dealing their own double.
