Summary
Later, as he was sitting on the toilet, he remembered what Steve had said: February. The wedding was in February. Eddie checked his phone, confirming his suspicion.
December 10th, 2023.
“Fuck,” he swore softly, and then again, “Fuck.”
A little over two months until Steve said I do, binding himself to a total stranger. Eddie wasn’t about to let his best friend get snatched up by someone who was likely not good enough for him, let alone someone Eddie had never heard of. Steve was too kind to be taken advantage of like that — too special.
How things had ended up as they had, Eddie couldn’t be sure, but one way or another, he was going to get to the bottom of it.

Summary
"It's all just some stupid story, anyway."
"Oh yeah? If you're not scared, then I dare you to do it," Tommy chimed.
"Do what?"
"Go into the woods when the streetlights come on during the next full moon."
"What? I'm not indulging in your little fantasy, dude. Fuck off."
"Someone's a pu-ssy," Tommy sing-songed teasingly.
"Whatever, no I'm not." Steve punched his shoulder again.
Tommy punched him back. "If you're not, then do it! It's not like anything's gonna happen. And I'd love to see your stupid face when you run out screaming because you got," Tommy put his hand in a fist under his chin and made mocking puppy dog eyes at Steve, "too scawed of da dawk."
Steve rolled his eyes as everyone else laughed.
"Whatever. Fine. I'll do it, asshole."
Or: Steve gets dared to go into the woods at night and is met with Monsterfied Eddie Munson

Summary
A long time ago, in a world that was not so different from our own, there was a Kingdom of shining glass and silver: people from afar whispered to each other that the streets ran with plenty, and that in its gleaming streets wishes came true. Kili didn’t really believe that.
In which an orphan meets a Prince, and sings the birds from the trees.
