There are rumors that the Jedi are not entirely… natural. They move too quickly, too silently, and their eyes always look to something nobody else can see.
“Unnatural,” some people murmur. “This ‘Force.’ It’s not right.”
Mortis was a conduit of the Force.
Anakin Skywalker had been a temporary conduit for the Daughter, had Fallen in the Well of the Dark Side, had been born from the Force.
Ahsoka Tano had been transformed by the Son, had been killed by the Dark, had been restored by the life of the Daughter.
Obi-Wan Kenobi had been taken to the Altar formed of pure Force, had been trapped in the Well of the Dark, had spoken with the dead.
They had been immersed in the Force more deeply than any other Jedi.
More deeply than what the Jedi consider to be… natural.

Summary
Timelines are fickle things.
Every line is balanced precariously on the precipice. One shift, one twitch of a finger, one step in the wrong direction, and entire stories change. Lives flicker out, galaxies rise and fall, but the Force is always a constant.
Each moment is carefully balanced. We know how the Siege of Mandalore happened - how the former Jedi padawan Ahsoka Tano led her men into victory. How she defeated Maul in single combat and earned the loyalty of Lady Bo-Katan Kyrze. How she rode her ship too late to meet with Anakin Skywalker, and how the galaxy fell and burned under the hand of the Sith.These are the ways the timelines could have gone, for better or worse.

Summary
There's a whole tidal wave of emotions threatening to pull Saccharina out to sea to drown. She swallows them all down, forces a shaky smile onto her face. "It's nice to meet you as well," she says politely. "I would say I've heard much about you, but I fear that might be an exaggeration."
"Ruby doesn't talk about me much, I would imagine," Jet nods sagely. "Has she at least told you about my ideas? You gotta ask her about my ideas, I had so many of them!"
Saccharina thinks about the last time she had tried to ask Ruby about something Jet related, and the anger that had flashed across Ruby's face. Nowadays, Ruby is better at swallowing that anger down and being kind instead, but she's not nearly as good as hiding it as she might think she is and Saccharina knows, she knows their relationship is nowhere near the levels she once dreamed it to be. "I will try," she says quietly. "Your twin is very hard to approach sometimes."

Summary
It was four years after the Ravening War ended before Princess Sapphria set out to the Dairy Islands to find Catherine Ghee. The other agents she’d sent had come up empty-handed, but she refused to give up.
It was another year of periods of searching interrupted by time at home before she finally located her. After twenty minutes of looking at a gravestone, and a long conversation with an old priest, she left.
And finally, it was two more months before she walked into a small nunnery hidden away in one of the most remote islands and asked to see one Saccharina Ghee.

In an alternate universe where the Ravening War turned out differently for the Rocks family, Saccharina is discovered and brought to Candia long before Gustavo Uvano is killed and Calorum is plunged into conflict once again. But this story is just about how a young girl used to nothing but bad things manages to find the love, family and acceptance she has always wanted. For good this time.
