Jaskier’s fingers smash into the keys, resulting in the piano squeaking with an ugly dissonance, the mood that had been lingering in the room instantly gone.
He turns around and looks at Geralt who is standing in the doorframe, hands in his pockets and an unreadable expression on his face.
“Sorry, what?” Jaskier asks, the question barely audible. His heart is pounding in his chest so loudly he fears that won’t be able to hear Geralt’s answer.
“You know what I mean. You have been asking me to do it every day for the last 6 months.”
Every day after work, Jaskier plays the same song, secretly confessing his feelings for Geralt. One day though, he gets caught.

Jaskier hums happily and tips his head to the other side so Geralt can peruse the real estate over there, too.
“Concentrate, Jaskier! How much did you use?” Water sloshes over the sides of the tub as Geralt hoists him halfway out, then pulls him back down so they’re sitting flush, Jaskier’s thighs thrown wide over Geralt’s.
“Hm,” Jaskier says, a little dreamily. He gestures at the empty bottle on the floor. “How much was in there?”
Geralt swears in what sounds like Elder tongue.
