I rode too fast today. The kind of fast that leaves nothing but the bike between you and hitting the pavement. The kind that I couldn’t even trust myself to control. The kind that leaves you trembling after you dismount. Why did I do that? I’m not that reckless, I think? I just want to feel something, it’s not like I want to-
I can’t. I don’t want to. I promised them. Both of them. I promised myself.
How can I ever tell them how I feel? How can I ever tell them that I only ever feel okay when I’m with them? That I only feel safe when I’m with them? That they make my heart feel full and warm and loved? They’re the only ones that see me. Not who I used to be. Not who I was supposed to be.
They see me for who I am.
They’re so happy together. Just the two of them. They’re perfect for each other. They balance each other out. Who am I to get in the way of that? I’m just…the third.
And I hate myself for being in love with both of them.

Rumi, Mira, and Zoey all become friends by fate, but as sparks begin to fly, the line between friend and lover begins to blur. Slow burn, angsty, fluffy, smutty, pearl-clutching yuri.

The words tumbled out of her gracelessly, but so so sweetly. She waited, and all the while, that little balloon grew and grew, the plastic skin of it stretching and thinning with every second before—
“You too,” Celine said back.
‘Pop.’
“Celine,” Rumi tried again, voice shaking as tears she didn’t even know she still had left to shed began to drip down her left cheek. “Celine, I said I love you.”

Summary
They’re still staring at Rumi, who has yet to leave the table that she’s been at for the past ten minutes.
Zoey hums, “I mean, it’s a little weird and a tiny bit freaky, but maybe she’s just—getting more comfortable around us?”
“I don’t know,” Mira says slowly. Her brow furrows in thought. “You should’ve seen the way she looked at me when she was licking the blood off my hand. It was like she was…” Possessed? Out of it? Kinda sexy? Possibly all of the above?
Zoey quietly answers, “I think I know what you mean.”
Or, Rumi’s new, strange behavior doesn’t go unnoticed by Mira and Zoey. Maybe it has something to do with her demon side.

Zoey is struggling. Work sucks, life is a constant drag, and even her hobby as a streamer feels more like work than fun at times. One of her only real comforts is her favourite artist, Rumi, seems to be moving into a new era, one Zoey is excited to follow. So, when a chatter starts to help with her cash flow problems, maybe a little give and take is fair play? When her friend Mira comes back into her life, and with this new bit of fun on the horizon, maybe things are starting to look up?
Rumi is finally free. After years of struggling under the light and airy image the studio had chained her to, her contract is over, and she can make the music she wants, do the things she wants, and she can stop putting on the performance. When one of her only real outlets, a small streamer who seems to be a fan that she has found herself watching time and time again, admits to having money problems, she doesn't think twice about throwing cash at the issue. When it starts to become more than that, she starts to hope that maybe this new chapter in her life will have some new characters too.

Summary
The pantry melted into obscene sounds of wet skin slapping on clothed hips as Mira’s moaning grew louder and more desperate.
Strings of expletives poured from Mira’s mouth as her insides felt rearranged by Rumi’s phantom phallus.
Her body was burning up, her breathing so ragged she was nearly hyperventilating. The wired shelves dug into her skin, but even that pain melted into pleasure as her thoughts filled with Rumi.
Rumi.
Rumi.
OR
Mira can’t sleep.
She isn’t the only one.
They all do each other about it.

The note reads, 'The supernatural world is a lot larger than you know. Come talk to us about it if you don’t want a repeat of the Namsan Tower event.'
Below that, an address is scribbled out in a different handwriting style. That points to more than one person being behind this, but there is no signature or calling card whatsoever.
Just the message, cryptic and calling out what could have been their greatest failure, and an address to somewhere outside of Seoul that none of them have been to.
Mira is the first to open her mouth.
“I think I’m speaking for all of us when I say, what the fu–”
or, a semi-retired but still on-the-scene K/DA exists in the same universe as Huntrix. They decide (read: Ahri decides) that someone needs to introduce these supernatural newbies, who've been causing a ruckus, to the weirder, wider world. As an experienced idol group that straddles the line between both worlds, made up of women who are either more than human or not human at all, they're the perfect people for the job.
In typical K/DA fashion, chaos ensues.
