My take on the hints in episode 5 of tadc.
When Jax's only friend abstracts, he convinces himself showing any signs of sadness is weak, something he refuses to be perceived as.
Ragatha, looking for another opportunity to gain validation and to be liked by others, assumes Jax is upset and goes to offer comfort for him. Jax immediately snaps at her in an attempt to conceal his feelings.

Summary
Alastor and Vox were meant to have a nice, lovely date.
Only problem is, Alastor has chronic insomnia and a caffeine addiction, so he drank an alarming amount of coffee beforehand.
And when all that coffee starts to get to him, Alastor decides he'd rather hold it than swallow his pride and admit to Vox that he needs to pee, which doesn't end well.
Uhm I don't know how kinks work (be nice to me I'm ace) so this could be a kink or maybe its just piss idk-

Summary
Alastor originally came to his rival's tower to enjoy his suffering like the fucked up little sadist he is, but after realizing Vox was sick, he takes the responsibility to take care of him because Vox clearly wasn't.
Even though Vox refuses his care and swears he's fine, Alastor isn't buying it and is determined to tend to the sick TV whether either of them likes it or not.

Although they are determined to leave the past behind and continue their rivarly, they can't help but miss who they used to be.

Summary
In a human AU, Vox, looking like a lovesick idiot, tells Velvette all about his night after a date that consisted of more than he and Valentino's usual mindless sex.
Velv, who realized that there might be more to her friends' relationship than either of them thought, comments that it sounds like Vox has fallen in love with Val, which immediately makes the TV twink panic.
Now the oblivious idiot has to deal with the fact that he fell in love with Val.
