For the first time ever, Venti was knocked-out drunk in Angel’s Share. The children of Mondstadt try to navigate through this while also experiencing strange occurrences of the wind around the slumbering bard.
Or; set during the Lantern Rite 3.4, after the banquet and a little ‘fight’ with Morax, Barbatos let themself get drunk until they passed out for the first time. Kaeya, Diluc, and Jean tried their best to stealthily transport them to a more adequate resting place. Also, there was a bar fight.

Kaeya has made many bad decisions in his lifetime – choosing the night Diluc’s father died to come clean, returning a library book two days late, running off on solo missions without telling Jean. This is, by all accounts, another one of those bad decisions and he shouldn’t do it.
In which Klee tasks Kaeya to make the weird grownup who runs the winery smile, and against his better judgement, he says yes.

Venti leaned out of the shower and willed the wind to throw a rag to him. He brushed the rough cloth over Diluc’s shoulder once in warning before he lathered it with soap and started to work his way down Diluc’s back.
He counted the marks without thinking, comparing them to the last time he’d had Diluc naked before him. Most of them were old, but one or two were new. Small marks that would hopefully disappear by year's end, but there was no promise of it. The human body could be so picky about which scars to keep and which to get rid of.
“My fierce phoenix. You cause me so much stress sometimes.” Venti whispered softly as he dragged the cloth over an ugly group of bruises.Venti loves that his partner is the fierce guardian that he is, he just wishes that Diluc would take a little more care of himself. Or Venti will have to do it for him.

“Oh, really? I heard her calling me ‘the weird grown-up’ back in the Archipelago. She is terrified of me”
Kaeya bit back a laugh at the mention of Klee’s nickname for his estranged brother, and Diluc glared at him.---
When Kaeya asks for Diluc to babysit Klee for a day, he doesn't imagine how many things can happen and change for his relationship with his estranged brother in the span of a day and with the help of the little Spark Knight.

Summary
At the very least, the presence of a certain bard in green will serve to soften his usual feeling of annoyance—not that Diluc would openly admit that to anyone. Venti grew on him. He looked forward to seeing him enter Angel’s Share and turn heads with his music and voice. Diluc even chose to forsake his tab, instead opting to having a glass of Dandelion Wine ready for him at the counter like now.
He always knew when Venti would enter. He could feel it.
But Venti does not come.
When Venti doesn't show up to Angel's Share like he normally does, it leads Diluc to worry that the Archon might be in trouble. He finds him at Windrise, tending to freshly obtained injuries at his statue.
