Summary
Oliver Stone once said: "The first casualty of war is innocence."
Harry Potter was the lone survivor of a plane crash when he was just five years old. Recovered by an unknown militant group, he grows up without innocence as it is the only way to survive. The wizarding world isn't ready for this Savior.
And, once he does return to the wizarding world, it starts to change. The war brought by the Dark Lord escalates and even the Ministry of Magic changes in response. War is encompassing, but where there is darkness there is still hope.

13/? possibly the best fic I've read in a really long time. This speaks to me on many levels.
A story on being cared for by loved ones, on accepting help sometimes, on understanding the difference between what is normal for yourself and what is normal for others. On the intersections of different disabilities and the frustration of bureaucracy and well-meaning idiots.
I love this story with all my heart.
