Jun rolls his eyes. “Sit down.”
A puppet and an architect walk into a coffee shop. A few months later, the puppet takes him home.

The architect pauses, as if just realizing. “I need to know what I’m dealing with first.”
This time it’s Scaramouche’s turn to hesitate. For an unending second, he’s back at the swordsman village, unsure of what he has to fear if what he is becomes known. He shakes his head slightly.
The architect looks at him expectantly, so Scaramouche stands up and lays himself across the table.

Summary
Voice low and absentminded in the hush between breaths, Alhaitham muttered to himself, “I don’t know why I’m in love with you.” A faint exhale followed. “It’s profoundly inconvenient.”
Struck silent by the abrupt confession, Kaveh tried to breathe beneath the weight of the words as they compressed his lungs. “P-Pardon?” he eventually managed to stammer out.
Alhaitham went still, every line of his body locked in belated realization.
For the span of several agonizingly long moments, they regarded each other in mute surprise - a rare, genuine stillness that made Kaveh’s chest tighten with each passing second. Eyes widening, Alhaitham’s throat bobbed as if he could somehow physically reach out and drag the sentence back in.

As much as he didn’t particularly want attention from him, it sucked that he was still thought of as a liar. But, he also didn’t really want his teammates to find out how close he was to Mr. Stark. That was only a few conclusions away from figuring out that he is Spider-Man.
Ned looked equally disappointed but dropped it. “Well… it’ll still be fun, right?”

Kirishima was hunched over the sink, his back to Bakugou. Water ran in a steady stream from the faucet, the silver metal flecked with blotches of red. Kirishima looked up at the sound of the door opening. His eyes locked with Bakugou's through the mirror in front of him and his mouth fell open. It was full of blood.
"Kirishima?" Bakugou's headphones were shoved off his ears and his book bag slipped off his shoulder, falling onto the bathroom floor with a thump.
"Oh, hi Bakugou." Kirishima turned to greet him over his shoulder, a wavering, dumbass smile on his dumb fucking face, his bloody fucking face.
His lips were red and shiny as a cherry, lines of red ran down his chin like a tiger's stripes, and his teeth, god his teeth. They were coated in blood and clumps of who the fuck knows what.
Kirishima's trademark had always been the color red. The bright hue of his hair was something Bakugou sought out everyday, but he never imagined seeing Kirishima red like this, never like this.

Alhaitham exhales roughly and turns back towards his room. Moments later, he hears six pairs of footsteps following him.
He swings his door open and raises a brow.
Kaveh’s eyes narrow. He peeks inside, taking in the muddy floors, the flowers strewn all over the place, and the leaves scattering the floors. Alhaitham watches Kaveh scan the room before his eyes flit over Alhaitham, and then the Aranara, and then Alhaitham again.
Through it all, the Aranara continue to stare at Alhaitham like he’s the biggest disappointment they’ve ever had the misfortune of meeting.
Kaveh’s lips twitch.
“Don’t you dare.”

There was dead fucking silence at the end of the line and then a loud crack. He glanced at the monitor to see Sonar's tracker suddenly stutter to a halt downtown.
Robert tried very hard to stop himself from laughing.
