Summary
Alastor has had many plans for that day, starting with leading a successful radio broadcast and ending with a few glasses of fine rye in his favorite jazz pub, hidden in a small corner of the entertainment district of Pentagram City.
Standing eye to eye with the King of Hell in person is most certainly not a part of them, just like all that happens afterwards, setting into motion a chain of events bound to change everything , not only regarding his own life but also the very core structure of Hell that has been seemingly set in stone for the past ten thousand years. And the worst thing about it is that he seems not to have even an ounce of control over it. Not when the primal instincts take over.
This story has been written for the radioapple Valentine’s week soulmate edition 2026, in a form of one consistent story, containing the event’s prompts.
Set seventy years before the actual show’s timeline, with an alternative meeting between Lucifer and Alastor.

Summary
Provoked by his own wretched pride and stubbornness that like to overrule his reason when they most definitely shouldn’t, Alastor is painfully reminded that a lie has no legs, especially if he agrees to something all too quickly, easily charmed by the well known smile and a happy spark in the eyes of some shrewd, little Devil.
Hell, if he isn’t going to be difficult about it, though.
There’s simply no way anything could make him enjoy this outright madness some unhinged people call fun. Luckily, Lucifer loves to prove him wrong.
Or, Lucifer asks Alastor out for an ice skating date, after Al has boasted of his supposed exceptional skills in this department. The truth comes to light once he places his first hoof over the frozen lake which turns his performance into some real disaster in mere seconds. The longest few seconds of his entire life, if anyone asked him.

Summary
Unusually for the Radio Demon, he took the other’s words to heart, as laughable as that sentence was. How dare he be compared to something so.. so below him! It spoke of weakness, a lack of control. And, he absolutely despised not being in control.
So, his plan was simple. Seduce the King into their bed and take control. Do all the work as the other so graciously usually did, and prove that he is indeed not a pillow princess!
