Summary
Arthur wasn’t a vain man, exactly. But he knew that he had nothing to be ashamed of. He worked long and hard to be as fit as possible, and it showed. He had never lacked confidence in that regard.
As he approached the tub he got a prickling feeling on the back of his neck. The feeling of being watched. He glanced around just in time to catch Merlin turning away, suddenly busy again with chores.
He smirked to himself as he suddenly recalled the morning wake up incident.
Of course Merlin would be looking. He had seen exactly what Arthur had to offer now. It was only natural he would want to look some more.
Arthur took his time, stretching languidly, making sure to put on a show, as a strange feeling of excitement filled him.
He heard a choking sound, a clang ringing through the room as a jug slipped from Merlin’s grasp.
“Something the matter, Merlin?” he asked.

The blush that that started high on Patrick’s cheeks has spread down his neck, disappearing into the v of his shirt.
“I, uh, bought something online,” he stammers.
David tucks a fond smile into his cheek. “I see.”
“And it got delivered today,” Patrick continues, “so when I stopped off at home after picking up the creams from Brenda, I, uh, tried it on.”
“Eager,” David teases, like he isn’t dying to see what’s under Patrick’s clothes. “And how did it feel?”
“Really good.”
Patrick makes a purchase that he and David both thoroughly enjoy.

Summary
Aithusa is captured by King Sarrum. In order to make sure the dragon is secure and the realm therefore safe, Arthur gathers a delegation to visit the Kingdom Amata. Merlin, however, breaks as he sees the state his daughter is in. And suddenly, secrets are no longer relevant.
Excerpt:
His teary eyes scanned all over her body, finding it worse than what Sarrum had described. Her claws were twitching and bleeding on the dirty ground. There was no water in sight and she looked thirsty while her eyes looked milky and unseeing. Yet, she seemed to recognise him somehow. For a moment, her gaze cleared and she nuzzled her forehead against Merlin’s. Cuts among her side, red coloring her white scaled bloody.“Merlin, what the hell are you doing! Come back here! NOW! It will eat you!”
But Merlin’s glare found only Sarrum’s who seemed more confused than anything. And that look, that innocence feigning, pleased expression, blinded Merlin with pure, unaltered rage. “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER!”

Summary
King Arthur sets out to keep his promise to the spirit of the Druid boy by repealing his father's ban on magic. Unfortunately, this is easier said than done, for reasons including but not limited to the following:
(1) He can't change the law until he understands magic better, but no sorcerer is willing to explain magic to him until he changes the law;
(2) The sorcerers all have some strange obsession with Merlin, which is awakening all sorts of feelings in Arthur that he really doesn't fancy examining too closely;
(3) He is starting to feel like the butt of some Druid-population-wide inside joke involving the mysterious phenomenon called Emrys; and
(4) Oh yeah, Morgana is still trying to kill him.
Thus he embarks on a journey of discovery, diplomacy, accountability, and self-improvement, and maybe even falls in love along the way.
