Shane loves the farmer. The farmer thinks she loves Elliott. Elliott loves the farmer. The farmer can't seem to get Shane out of her head.
Part two of my work, "The Writers' Wife." Shane and the farmer navigate their complicated emotions towards each other after their night together. Avoidance, attraction, and self-hatred are all interwoven in this story that permanently changes the lives of three Pelican Town residents.
