“Holy shit.” Dustin breathed.
The girl their age scowled. “Where are we!? Who are you people!? What the hell is this!?”
“I’ll explain everything.” Jane started. “Don’t worry, you’re safe. This place is… nothing here can hurt you.”
Lucas frowned. “Wait, where exactly is this?”
“This is going to take a bit to explain, but…” Jane let out a deep breath. “I’m from the future.”
They all stared at her in pure silence.
“I think I just threw up in my mouth.” Dustin whispered.
OR: When Jane's suicide plan goes awry, she finds herself with an oppertunity to go back in time and warn her precious people of the evils to come.

“I think I just threw up in my mouth.” Dustin whispered.
OR: Eleven uses the powers of the Upside Down to go back in time and show her friends the dangers up ahead in hopes of saving them from their terrible fates.

Kakashi was tired.
A couple times he still second guessed himself. Wondered if it would be better to fail the team and let whatever happens to them happen.
But every time he saw the photo of his old team, he remembered why he couldn’t.
He couldn’t let that happen to them. This system had already screwed them over. The people who were supposed to care for them had done the opposite.
Kakashi wasn’t going to be another adult who let these kids down.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen. And maybe I’ll only make things worse…” Kakashi murmured softly to the framed photo at his bedside. “…But I have to try.”
He had too. Or these pups were as good as dead.
OR: Kakashi realizes how bullshit it is that Team Seven was even a team in the first place, and does things differently. Screw Hiruzen for putting him in this position.

Benny's head whipped to the side to look at Ethan in disbelief, eyebrows furrowed. “You’re kidding, right?”
Ethan hesitated. He didn’t think he sounded so crazy, but Benny was looking at him like he just declared he enjoyed kicking puppies as a past time. He ended up offering a weak shrug.
“And where exactly is this coming from?” Benny questioned, raising an eyebrow. “Are you pouting again because you don’t think you have a shot with her and are trying to convince yourself you’re not interested anymore?”
Ethan groaned. Honestly, he couldn’t say that was an unreasonable conclusion to make. It sounded like the kind of thing he’d do. But still, it frustrated him that the idea was so outrageous. “No, dude, I just… it’s the cookies.”
Benny stared. “I’m sorry?”
OR: Ethan and Benny have a heart to heart, set sometime after Independence Daze.

Satoshi noticed the blood on the chair and floor, growing worried. “Do you have tampons?”
Arceus, how could Satoshi ask something like that so casually? Gou could barely talk about feminine products, and he’s the one who used them.
“Ran out.” Gou muttered. “I’ll go get some when the meds kick in.”
Satoshi looked at him like he was crazy, and then he looked stern. “You’re not going around like this. Hang on, maybe…” Satoshi grabbed his backpack off the top bunk bed and dug around. He beamed. “Ah, here!”
He held out a tampon.
A tampon.
Gou stared at it, and then at Satoshi.
“You…why do…what?”
Satoshi chuckled. “I’ve traveled around with a lot of different girls. It’s just a curtesy thing, be prepared and all. I didn’t think I had any left from my time in Alola but I guess I did.” He smiled. “I should probably restock though, for times like this.”
OR: Gou gets cramps and Satoshi is the best boyfriend ever.

So when he saw him, he greeted him with his usual ‘good morning’ and set his hand on Midoriya’s shoulder, ready to take in his thoughts and put them to good use.
Except Midoriya’s thoughts were…unclear. They weren’t even thoughts, more just…

Todoroki had no clue what that meant or what to do with it, but it was a bit concerning.

Instantly, Collector looked nervous. “…What if you’ve been bad?”
“Well, typically you’d get coal. But I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that.” Luz winked at them, petting them on the head.
Collector couldn’t help getting giddy at the idea of getting presents. They’d been working really hard to be a better person this last year, and Luz and the others seemed to think they were making great progress.
They only turned people into toys like fifteen times in the last year! That’s a personal best.

Bakugou blinked rapidly. How did he have zero memory of this?
“After we grew apart in middle school, I held onto it.” Midoriya told him rather sassily. “Mom found it yesterday and called me asking if I wanted it, so I took it, and when I was looking through it, I found this.” He held up an old, folded up piece of yellowed paper.
Bakugou gave him a dry stare, but decided to humor him and read it out loud. “When Kacchan and Deku have boyfriends, they will help each other pick out the perfect Christmas presents for them.”
“That’s right.” Midoriya insisted firmly. “And I’m here to collect.”
Bakugou groaned, falling back on his bed and running his hands over his face. “Deku, you can’t hold me to that.”
“Why not?” Midoriya frowned.
“Because when I wrote that I didn’t expect to 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 a boyfriend, and I was 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 you never would.”
