Sometimes, Bernadetta wondered if her spirit was the reincarnation of some sort of prey animal. A rabbit, perhaps. Maybe a squirrel. Maybe that was why the first thing she ever did (when she could) at a school event was to find the most empty, quiet corner and curl into a ball, her arms holding onto her bent knees while she took in quiet, shallow breaths. Currently, the corner of the Garreg Mach library between two bookshelves has become her new burrow.

both figuratively and literally. It was 3am at night when most people were already asleep, and here he was, having a fling with some random town girl he found earlier this afternoon. And it was freezing. It was the Ethereal moon, and the harsh winter winds bit against his skin, even underneath his thick coat. What he was doing was probably sacrilegious, but eh, he wasn’t ever particularly devout. If the goddess existed, everything would probably feel a lot less terrible right now."
Sylvain is using negative coping mechanisms to escape his thoughts. in the middle of this process, he encounters Marianne in the Garreg Mach cathedral at 3am.

“None of the medical supplies are missing, no… bodies…” Geordi’s VISOR began to flicker, and he tapped the portion that met his temples, trying to re-establish the connection. “Damn, my VISOR’s bugging out like crazy. I’m due for a checkup anyways. I guess this is the universe’s way of reminding me,” he laughed weakly as he braced himself against a counter.
Data briskly walked over to him, a concerned expression in the lines of his face. “May I see your VISOR? Perhaps there is something faulty that is connected with what occurred on the Enterprise.”
