What it says:
I'm thinking about Red being too nice to say no.
The colors (+ Shadow) are at a royal event, and they all get sent a drink from "someone who just wanted to buy the heroes drinks as thanks." they all know it's risky to drink it, and the others politely decline, but Red would hate for the person who sent them to be told the heroes refused their gift... just one sip couldn't hurt, right? Just to be kind.
It's only a few absentminded sips later, when his legs give out under him and Green is shouting for a medic, that Red regrets not trusting his gut. -

I've thought this over long and hard, but the evil Hylia promised protection for Ravio from the evils. I don't think I can tolerate one more evil bothering him just because of association to me. I don't need another lover killed because of my failure. The evil's numbers are growing by the second. There's too many to count, from every timeline and power level. I love my brothers, but I don't think we can win this as we are now.
