Summary

Summary
Number one rule for working the night shifts at the sketchy gas station in the middle of butt-fuck nowhere was to not look at them, and they would leave you alone. They weren’t even supposed to see you if you didn’t look at them - just flicker the lights, rattle some shelves, and inflict the fear of death into your bone marrow.
Then, one night, one of them with stupid eyebrows and a serious attitude problem chose to come in only to start yelling at Zoro, who had done literally nothing to deserve it.

Summary
“You’re dismissed, Marimo,” he said, rudely waving him off. “Have fun with your cornstarch.”
Zoro scowled at him. “You’re a fucking asshole, you know that?”
A grin on the blonde’s face- a big, goofy one.
The first one Zoro’s seen.
“I sure do,” he said, flipping Zoro off before turning around to continue his work.
Or
Not-so-chance encounters and far too much care between them.
Sanji never understands, Zoro can never explain.
It’ll come to a head eventually, I promise.

Summary
Even though Zoro finds amusement in that expression—the twitching corner of the mouth, the flared nostrils, the trembling eyelashes—and wants to jab at the knight who’s caught his interest, he says something else instead. “Looks like we’re both bored out of our minds here. You don’t seem like a weakling. How about a spar?”
A story about two lonely souls finding each other, about growing up, and about trying to fix what was carelessly broken.

Summary
New York hums beneath Sanji’s feet — all smoke, steel, and quiet corners where a man can lose himself if he’s not careful. He spends his days in a kitchen that never sleeps, his nights crossing the river toward a silence he doesn’t have a name for yet.
There’s a studio glowing somewhere in Brooklyn, lit with ink, incense, and a presence that unsettles him more than it should. Sanji tells himself it’s just work. Just routine.
But the city shifts when he walks toward it.
—
A story about the spaces Sanji slips into, the ones he escapes from, and the one he never expected to stay in.
