Summary
So, here are the highlights of the last 48 hours for him; he went to jail, lost the man of his dreams, and got his ass handed to him pretty good. Still, things could be a lot worse, right?
Except of course, for the minuscule detail that he was currently falling to his death… Right.
When he was a child, Hizashi thought he could be a hero. His quirk, after all, was exceptional. Abrasive, powerful, and oh, so dangerous. One would think that was the perfect combination for a powerful hero. In many ways, it probably was, except that it was gifted to none other than Hizashi, with his loud personality and outbursts of energy that could take down buildings.
Maybe he was never meant to be a hero.

If this wasn’t love, then his entire life had been a lie, and he refused to believe that. He refused to believe it wasn’t real, that he had done what he’d done and become what he’d become for nothing. He refused to believe his feelings for Gi-hun were just an illusion, or him finally going insane. No. This was real. This had to be real.
The rebellion never happens, In-ho and Gi-hun play Hide and Seek, they get a little freaky afterwards (of course), but their story doesn't end there: in this universe, In-ho actually has the balls to do something about his feelings.

He can't really say it when Robert's awake. It’s this… mental block he has. He’s too bad at verbalizing his emotions. Locks up. He’s said it—six times, he thinks?—while Robert was conscious. Sonar was, of course, drunk-and-or-high each time.
It’s—well, Robert doesn’t seem too upset about it so far. He seems to understand Sonar’s whole thing.

"Nothing’s happened between them yet. Between Sonar and Robert. He’d go as far as to say they were starting to become good friends, pointedly ignoring the twinge of hurt at the notion that Robert may not feel the same. Besides Malevola (and his vast network of financial connections) Sonar didn’t have a lot of people he could call friends, let alone a good one. Maybe in some fucked up, lonely way, his lack of experience in the friendship department is manifesting these misplaced feelings. This could be his second hand smoke.
