“You are baby.” He said matter of factly.
“I’m, what?” Hollander seemed offended and surprised all at once.
“I catch you touching yourself and now you can’t even look at me. Baby.” Ilya teased, not moving his eyes away from Hollander’s.
He watched a blush creep under Hollander’s freckles and thought about kissing them. He nearly broke eye contact just from that. He needed to stay focused.
“I’ve just been busy!” Hollander defended himself. He took a step back from Ilya. Ilya took a step forward. He stared at Hollander, making the doubt on his face clear.
Hollander’s whole body was fidgeting. Ilya loved how nervous he was making him. He could tell Hollander was close to breaking.
“Admit it. You are baby.”
“I’m not!”
“Then prove it,” Ilya growled, walking forward until Hollander’s back was up against the wall.

Summary
After recovering from his injuries from his fight with the Winter Soldier, Steve moves to a new apartment in Brooklyn. With no regular missions in the foreseeable future, save for any calls from the Avengers strictly for world-ending crises, the only excitement in Steve's lonely bachelor life is his increasingly indecent dreams about a faceless man.
Then he hears about several Hydra bases getting hit by a single assailant around the country…

His job at the coffee shop lets him do his art, work with his best friend, take care of his ma, and ogle the muscular mechanics at the local auto-body shop. His health and his love life could be better, but he's very aware of how lucky he is to have it this good. Oh, and live in Brooklyn. Simple life, simple pleasures.
Is it really so much to ask to be able to get across the street in one piece? Apparently.

The air’s heavy between them. Steve lets him go. If it wasn’t for the red light and twisting metal, and the fact that they’re stood on opposite sides of some line Steve can’t quite figure out, he could almost fool himself into thinking that they’re back in their time. In their Brooklyn apartment, waiting out a power cut, or in a tent in Europe, both too afraid to say how afraid they are.
