Summary
Wednesday’s getting used to people being obsessed with her, so it’s not surprising that someone’s sent her a hardbound copy of the manuscript for her (still unpublished) novel “High Noon for Viper de la Muerte”. It’s got a beautiful embossed black leather cover, and there’s even a dedication in blood red ink.
“To Wednesday. Remember, Life imitates Art.” She couldn’t have put it better herself.
Only, as she flips through the pages (vellum, with a skin-like finish), she notices that this isn’t her novel at all. It’s all wrong. And it’s all happening in real life.
Set post-season 2. (Yes, I know season 2 isn’t out yet. Just go with it)

Summary
It was the worst kind of morning. There was blue as far as Wednesday could see, not a single dark cloud to grace her view, and birdsong rang out like clear silver bells. This, Wednesday decided, must be some form of punishment for the miscellaneous sins she had committed in her recent past, although which ones precisely she had some trouble deciding. Could it be for the forced castration of those two awful boys? No, she thought, that had been more an act of clemency towards the world than anything else.
