Wolffe took a breath, relaxing out of the mask he’d unconsciously adopted when he first sensed how close Fox was to snapping. Unease still gnawed at him, the same way it had since he’d first seen fucking lashes on his brother’s back, the kind of wounds that even Rex and Cody didn’t have despite the amount of shit their Generals dragged them into, but it was softer, soothed by the fact that at least now they were doing something.
Fox would be fine. They’d make sure of it.
Or: The Jedi and the GAR know about the Guard's plight. Now, they just have to do something about it, and the Guard still don't trust them enough to make it easy.

When the conflict between Skyblock and the Antarctic Empire had dragged on long enough without showing any sign of either nation being defeated, a truce was struck. Skyblock agreed to stop its assaults and negotiate a peace treaty, and in return, the empire would do the same. To show goodwill, Skyblock would even go so far as to hand over its most competent general as a prisoner of war. That way, the Antarctic Empire would know the lengths they were willing to go to for a proper resolution.

The guards tense, but Niki nods. “We have.” She says clearly, like it might not understand her, despite the fact it very clearly can. It’s a clever tactic that makes the person in question feel lesser or belittled, and only really works if they’re foreign.
He guesses it counts as foreign.
Its smile doesn’t dim, and even though Wilbur can’t see its eyes underneath thick strands of hair that have fallen over its face, he feels its gaze locked on him. “Very well.”
