Peter is choking. That is the first thing he realizes as he is regaining consciousness. He tries to cough, to blink awake, but all he sees is green and all he feels is… green. It’s everywhere. It sits in the stomach, his throat, even in his veins. He is nothing but green.

Chaos had been in the foster care system for the large majority of their life, and they are very not okay. They'll get better one day, one far off day filled with many sleepless nights filled with hopelessness before that. It gets worse before it gets better, they just gotta live to see the rainbow.
