Gamzee left town without warning years ago. Eventually he was picked up by a carnival and worked as a carnie until a chance encounter puts him back in touch with Karkat, Tavros, and his other old friends.
Now Gamzee has decided to move back to town and has a lot of things on his plate when it comes to getting his life on track, confronting old mistakes, and getting back in touch with family.
Tavros is a veterinary student who's done a fair share of growth over the years. He navigates the world and his personal relationships differently now and he's got his own collection of experiences to share as he and Gamzee rediscover their friendship and grow closer.
