Summary
The USS Enterprise is drawn to a strange and evidently uninhabited ocean planet when it detects an ancient Earth sonar distress signal. Una and La'an are sent to investigate whether anyone is truly trapped below the watery surface. Upon arrival to the planet, they find themselves ensnared in a perplexing mystery regarding its true nature and the alluring effect it has on Una.
This story is rated T, except for the final chapter (15) that is rated M.
(Part 1 of the Twin Flames series is a short collection of backstory snippets for Una and La'an, but it is not strictly necessary to read that if you prefer to jump straight into this fic. There is one background event from the first fic that is prominent in this story.)
