Summary
When Marinette was 10-years-old, her bully Chloe Bourgeois took her tormenting to the next level and pushed her into the Seine to drown. Just as she is about to fully lose consciousness, Marinette sees a young boy her age jumping into the water.
Soon, Marinette wakes up in a sandy bank a safe distance away from the water, with the boy she saw earlier before she lost consciousness was real! Summary
Fragile teenager Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a young girl entering her last year of middle school while her best friend Socqueline Wang graduates to high school, vows to be not-so-fragile anymore to make her friend proud. But that is easier said then done. With obstacles like school, helping her parents in their family bakery, and her nemesis Chloe Bourgeois constantly using her as a punching bag with no one even trying to help her.
Then, all of a sudden, Marinette finds her world upside down when she is personally recruited to be one of Paris's greatest superheroes. On top of that, she also finds herself becoming acquainted with one of Paris's biggest models, Adrien Agreste, who surprisingly, becomes one of her new best friends.
This is one school year Marinette will definitively not forget, from navigating through the new school year to jumping across rooftops with her loyal partner Chat Noir.
