Scar seemed to tense at the echo of his wish. His face shifted as wonderful splotches of color heated his cheeks. Those green eyes looked askance, nervous laughter filling the air around them. “Yeah, uh, y’know. I’ve never really tried out that holiday tradition. Would be nice to check it off my bucket list.”
“Oh,” Grian said, willing his voice not to break. “Have you… got someone particular in mind?”
Scar just huffed out a little laugh and sent an unreadable glance Grian’s way. "I think I’ll just go for whoever’s nearby when midnight strikes.”

Performance Issues, HotGuy?
By GrianIn recent weeks, HotGuy has been leaving much to be desired on the battlefield. It seems after many long, hard fights, he just can’t keep it up. He used to be quite anal about his victories, but now he’s had a few close calls. Could it be that his arrows just aren’t what they used to be? Is he firing blanks? I wouldn’t be surprised if his enemies are having to fake their defeat. Of course, HotGuy is far from the only man who struggles to hit the target, so maybe I shouldn’t be so harsh.
Three of HotGuy’s record fights for injuries and collateral damage have all occurred this month, an alarming statistic in the face of the continued attacks. The root of the issue may be difficult to swallow…Series

“I’m sorry, Grian,” Scar repeated. “Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?”
For a moment, Scar thought he saw Grian’s gaze dip again, but with distance between them, and the glare from a lamp on the other man’s glasses, he couldn’t be entirely sure. It made his heart squeeze all the same.
Grian straightened, huffing, “No.”
Scar hesitated. “Are you sure?”
“Positive,” Grian said. He leaned into the couch cushions, his countenance changing with the wave of a hand. His face relaxed, his legs crossed in front of him, and a wide smile split his lips. “You’ll pay for what you’ve done in due time.”

His hands moved before his mind, allowing the gray to return to Scar’s face. He won the battle against the bleeding red paint, staring at Scar’s face. Riddled with grey, eyes a wild red that he hadn’t bothered to change. That was his Scar. The first Scar. The one he’d murdered. The one he’d ruined. The one he’d watched life leave the eyes of. And it was all his fault. It was always going to be his fault. Years spent in a never ending loop of death games, years spent being the one at fault.
“Songbird?” A voice cut through his terror. That voice. His voice.

Summary
He locked eyes with Scar across the room. Seven minutes. Alone in a confined space with somebody he’s been desperately in love with for years. Anybody else he could be stuck with, anybody else he could laugh off. It would be funny. But for some god forsaken reason, Grian can’t act normal around Scar.
He trudged towards the selected closet, trying not to look severely dreadful as they set the timer and closed the door behind them, the soft click of the lock playing like a laugh at Grian’s mortified soul.
OR: Grian and Scar are trapped in a closet and they kiss because I felt like it!
