"Wait!" Brucie beamed impossibly wider. He grabbed Danny by the shoulders. "A job! Perfect! I need a new intern you see. The last one just quit. Yes. Yes, you're hired. Congratulations!"
"What?" Danny choked in astonishment.
"You'll start immediately! Come back to Wayne Enterprises with me! I'll show you all around the R&D division!"
At this point, Danny was 98% sure he was having an elaborate hallucination. So he decided to go with it. "A job doing what exactly?"
Brucie leaned in. He lowered his voice to a conspiratorial whisper.
"Just between you and me… I need someone to keep an eye on Timmy."
"...Timmy?" Danny was honestly a bit afraid to ask. Nothing that came out of this man’s mouth made any sense.

Danny didn't know where he came from. Didn't know how he ended up in the basement in his nightmares. Wasn't quite sure what he was or if that was why he'd once been there. Couldn't seem to grasp what his life had been like before waking up much smaller than he thinks he remembers once being.
But he won't waste his chance to be free. Free from the pain, the hurt, the fear. Free from the dangers of the basement.
Dick will stop at nothing to ensure that he is.

Danny gets de-aged to a toddler after an encounter with a petty immortal witch as he is in Gotham. Now he must find Batman and ask for his help to change him back to a teen. The only problem? The witch cursed him to be only able to speak toddler babble. Cue the misunderstandings and miscommunication.
