"No, no, it was perfect." Lohen's grin widened. "I was already winding up for the first strike when—" He mimed a shove with his whole body. "A random gust of wind hits me from the side and sends me tumbling downhill like a sack of potatoes. And when I got back up?" His expression crumpled into genuine tragedy. "Gone. Both of them. Just poof. Vanished into thin air."
Paimon tilted her head. "Huh? They just… disappeared?"
"Disappeared," Lohen repeated, the word bitter on his tongue. "I didn't even get to land a single hit. I had a bruised hand, nothing serious, I've had worse, and I was about to try fighting them one-handed just to make it interesting. And then the wind ruined everything."

Summary
It was ironic, Venti and Kaeya's friendship. There was always a silent understanding that they were never truly open with one another, and that they never could be. Being The Anemo Archon, and a Khaenri'ahn survivor, there was obviously some history.
Of course, Venti always accepted Kaeya, even though knew his secret.
He was happy to keep their walls up and pretend everything was normal - until he learned Kaeya's last name.Watch as the two guarded drinking buddies have to lower their walls as they come to learn of a more personal history between them.
