Summary
When Gabrielle starts grilling Lestat about his love life, he tells her that Louis is his boyfriend. Unfortunately, Louis has never been able to say no to Lestat.
But then she invites herself around for Christmas with Louis’ family and that’s where it really goes downhill.
Unable to host a real family Christmas, Lestat requests the help of his friends to pose as Louis’ family.
Cut to Louis hugging his 64-year-old friend Daniel and calling him ‘Dad’ to appease Lestat’s eagle-eyed mother.

Summary

Things change when Lestat makes him a tempting offer, and Louis sacrifices himself to provide for his family when they’re in need.

Louis rolls his eyes. He tries to seem unaffected, but he knows his breathing is still harsh. “Don’t bother me again. I’ll have you thrown out.”
Lestat leans into his space, casual in his intrusion. “Will you?”
Louis can’t actually throw out Lestat, not for anything he’s done so far. If Tom knew he was threatening to boot a rich customer over this, he’d shout himself hoarse. But Lestat doesn’t know that. Probably.
“Yes. I can and I will.”
Lestat’s hand wraps around Louis’ left wrist, and his grip is firm, proprietary. Louis tries to pull away, but he can’t budge Lestat’s hand. He feels panic start to creep in, insidious.
“Ah, ah, ah, it’s alright, chéri, I won’t hurt you.”
