Following the death and funeral of yet another padawan, the Temple's caretakers made a decision. No longer were they sending their children to war. If they had to oppose the entire Galactic Senate, well, it was nothing compared to getting ten empathic children with telekinetic abilities to sit still for a fifteen minutes meditation.
Or, the Jedi High Council and the entire galaxy now has to contend with the collective 'disappointed parent' looks of a hundred crèchemasters.
