Summary
Sephiroth knows that his is a special, and cursed, existence. He has no secondary gender, has never had a first heat or a rut, and he can neither sense nor project emotions through pheromones. Hojo, of course, is thrilled by this. He says it means Sephiroth is perfect, above such animal natures. It's just one more thing that sets him apart from everyone else.
Genesis and Angeal just want to grow closer to their squad-mate, try and get him to relax around them and learn more about him. But after Rhadore, Sephiroth is terrified to let anyone close to him for fear that they will disappear the way everyone who's ever cared for him has been.
Sephiroth thinks he can keep everyone at a distance, to protect them from himself if nothing else, but all that goes out the window when he goes into heat.

Summary
Hypnos has his golden eyes riveted on the fishing lure, but he's staring right past it. The pole is lax in his hands.
Zagreus knows, from centuries spent around Hypnos to varying degrees, that the guy sometimes just gets like that. A little spacey, a little airy, a little impermanent and intangible like a- well, like a dream. Something wispy and immaterial, somehow physically present and yet not here at all.
The problem is, he's been doing it a lot more lately.

Summary
After the devastating events of his last Australian Q-pid expedition, Sam Porter Bridges is a man haunted by grief, guilt, and ghosts that refuse to stay buried. Alone once again and desperate to outrun his past, he throws himself into the endless grind of porter work, until a figure from that past reappears in the most impossible of ways.
Higgs, long presumed gone, resurfaces. Damaged, but still dangerously charismatic. When Sam makes the mistake of accepting one more pizza delivery request, he finds himself face-to-face with the man who nearly destroyed everything he held dear. But this time, the encounter ends not only in violence, but in something far more unexpected: a plea for help.
Caught between anger, resentment, and a flicker of reluctant empathy, Sam must decide whether redemption is possible for a man like Higgs, or if some monsters are better left dead in the tar.
In short: a post-Death Stranding 2, Higgs-focused fix-it, heavy on grief, depression, and the slow, messy process of learning how not to be a monster anymore.
