    If there was one thing Izuku Midoriya was good at, it was crying. Ever since he was four years old, when he was diagnosed quirkless and everything started going wrong, crying had become his most sharply-honed skill. But crying couldn't make you a hero. And that was all he had ever wanted.
    One night, after a particularly painful beating from his childhood friend Kacchan and his lackeys, Izuku found himself once again practicing his only true skill.
    And something changed.
    Izuku was overjoyed at finding that he did, in fact, have a quirk, even if it was a useless and even slightly uncomfortable one. His joy was short-lived, however. Who could have predicted that the one thing he had always dreamed of and that society had shunned him for lacking would mark the beginning of the end of Izuku's life?

    Izuku Midoriya, also known as the vigilante 'Zero', receives a suspicious message in a hero forum chatroom from someone claiming to be Principal Nedzu, and is intrigued enough to find out more. The job turns out to be real and Izuku finds himself working as a teaching assistant at UA, chaos ensues.

    Summary

    After Aizawa Shouta's famous Quirk Assessment Test where he chews out his newest Problem Child for lack of Quirk Control and tells him blatantly that he can't become a Hero, he finds out two things. That Midoriya Izuku's Quirk came in on the date of Yuuei's Entrance Exam and that he is now in need of a foster parent. And it just so happens that Aizawa Shouta is in the best situation to raise a kid with such a self-destructive Quirk.

    Now he has to learn how to both successfully parent and to try his best to mend the fragile and already battered trust between him and his new Problem Son. What could possibly go wrong?

    Katsuki Bakugou was 7 when he learned that not all men are created equal.
    Momo Yaoyorozu was 8 when she learned that not all men are created equal.
    All children learn it at one point or another, but the Midoriya children are different. This fact of life hit them harder than most, but do you know what sets them apart?
    They did something about it.

    Alternatively: The story of how Inko Midoriya ends up with 15 vigilante children, 3 young kids, 3 older kids, 2 hero kid-in-laws, a husband that lights things on fire when he sneezes, and a partridge in a pear tree.

    He was… f a l l i n g.

    In one moment, Midoriya Izuku Mikumo had been fighting alongside Kacchan and the blond’s friends in the streets in front of Tatooin Station. He had agreed to leave his new home on the beach behind and go with them to join the resistance against Lord All For One.

    In the next, Mikumo was blinking stars from his eyes as people milled around in the streets in front of Tatooin Station. He had miscalculated and was now far from any home he had known. Far from his own time, as he would soon find out.

    Shooting stars are only just the beginning, a new start. Brilliant streaks in the sky before burning up into stardust. He’s already witnessed many. Maybe this time will be kinder?

    Well… he could only wish upon a star.
