“We should make a bet,” Jungkook suggests. Taehyung needs something to motivate him. “Something to keep this interesting.”
“I don’t love this, but what are you thinking?”
“I bet you can’t run this 5K in under thirty minutes.”
“What?” Taehyung almost comes to a halt, surprised by the call out. “I thought you said that I could before we started.”
“What better way to prove me wrong than with a bet?” Jungkook challenges, smirking at Taehyung.
He doesn’t know this man very well. At all, really. But he can see the way his eyes shift into something serious as he contemplates the challenge.
“Okay, let’s say that I take this bet, what’s in it for me?”
“I’ll let you decide,” Jungkook says.
