Summary
Tellur wanted to live his second life with his mother peacefully on their small farm, it didn't matter all that much to him that he now had talons and wings and claws and the ability to do magic. That was cool as hell! Until he figured out the reason for his new species being that he was isekai'd into his favorite manga.
... maybe it shouldn't have taken him fourteen years to realize, but in his defense his memory's still really spotty!

Something that he learned quickly was that his current parental figure was fond of throwing him. Literally. He would get tossed fifteen feet in the air before she would catch him again. It took 24 times before he figured out what she was looking for. As he was falling back to the ground for the 25th time wings unfurled from his back and kept him afloat.
Which was… literally the coolest thing ever.He had wings! Real wings! They were blue on the outside, with orange feathers on the underside. They matched his moms, which she showed off as proudly as he did.
He proceeded to admire himself in a mirror for at least thirty minutes.

There was a strange noise coming from above him, it sounded like aggravated squeaking. He looked up, trying to figure out what it was, as the butler he needed to rid the mansion of any pests he might come across. But when he looked up he saw a weasel like thing yelling at him, what was it? It kinda looked like a mixture between a person and a rat.

Logan keeps his eyes closed when the extraterrestrials drag him into the room, slowing his breathing and relaxing his muscles into figurative dead weight. His abductors clearly have no in-depth knowledge of human physiology, because his sudden relaxation after being drugged nearly an hour before is taken in stride. They leave him on the cold floor, sound fading as they abandon what they think is his unconscious body.
Then, as always happens when Logan’s eyes are shut for more than a minute, his soulmate’s view swims into sight.
Dull white walls and a white floor; two tanned arms, one noticeably more scarred than the other; a thick metal door and sleek electronic shackles on both ankles. Logan is familiar with the sight, but it still makes his jaw clench, causes his fingers to curl into fists.

The alien birds didn’t seem to know what to make of him. They must have been important if they were buying intergalactic pets and providing them whole rooms to themselves, but if Logan had ever heard of a human before, he didn’t let it show.
Humans were horrible, from what the smugglers had said, because outside of Earth-- their deathworld, was what they had called it-- they were stronger than most species, and a heck of a lot more durable. The humans who got to space fell to their worst impulses, got addicted to killing, or so beaten down they were desensitized to it.
Patton would never be used to it. He wouldn’t try to be, not even if his life depended on it, not when he remembered how those first aliens had crumpled like paper mache under the force of a few blows. That was why he’d ended up with the fish people in a reverse aquarium, for being so boring.
That was why he stayed still and relaxed when the birds came to visit him, and let Roman touch his face and arms when he wanted to, even though Virgil tried to stop him. He didn’t want the birds to be afraid he would hurt them.

“Its funny, you know?” Roman said, glancing towards Virgil. “A year ago Remus told me he had taken in a Deathworlder, and I thought he was crazy. A Deathworlder? But now that I know you guys I can’t believe I didn’t get my own sooner.”
“Remus has a human on his crew?” Virgil asked.
“Oh, I wonder if you know each other!” Patton added.
Virgil bit back his original comment, and let the weight settle in his stomach. If Remus had a human in his crew there was even more of a chance that Remus was dead, because the Pol’turs had chosen to save the mysterious human for last.
“Earth is a big place,” Virgil said instead. “Like really big. They’d probably be from like Russia or something.”
