Summary
“Do you like soft toys?” Jayce asks, voice tampered down as he speaks into the crown of Viktor’s head. His soft curly locks tickle at Jayce’s chin.
Viktor nods quietly into Jayce’s shoulder, his sharp jaw knocking against Jayce’s neck.
“It’s my only one,” Viktor whispers, voice shaky and pitiful.
Viktor yanks his head backwards to stare upwards at Jayce, lips bowed down into a soft pout.
“Please don’t make me throw it out,” He pleads, lashes clumped together, damp.
__Or, Jayce and Viktor celebrate a new milestone together, and Jayce watches Viktor age regression become a coping mechanism evoked by safety rather than fear.

Summary
Holding out his hand, he retrieves the box from Zagreus. Taking a moment to admire the beautiful carvings into the deep maroon wood before reaching for the lid. He pulled it up… then paused. His often neutral expression turned surprised and confused.
“What is it?” Zagreus asked, unable to read his face.
“You don’t know what’s in here?” Patroclus looked up to see a just as confused prince.
“No? I told Dionysus that I wouldn’t peek inside.” The prince answered innocently, “why? What’s wrong with it?”
Patroclus pursed his lips, almost embarrassed for Zagreus, “it’s… not exactly what I expected.”

Elros would not be deterred, Elrond saw, and so set about convincing himself instead. Elros needed him to believe. If outsiders thought them children, that was one thing. If Elrond thought them children, it might just be true.
